Prize Presentation Ceremony for Longines “Elegance is an attitude” Photo Contest

Thanks to your tremendous support, Longines “Elegance is an attitude” photo contest is completed with huge success. Over 20,000 hit rates were recorded and over 1,200 photos were submitted in three weeks, with over 5,000 online votes were recorded. The prize presentation ceremony was held yesterday at Atrium II, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui which gave a wonderful ending to the activity.

Longines’s ambassador of Elegance, Aaron Kwok and artist Charlie Young were our honorable guests to present fabulous prizes to the winners. Mr. Au Chin Ki, whose photo named “Elegant Dancer”, became champion. Aaron Kwok presented a Longines diamond watch valued at HK$30,000 as well as round-trip air tickets to Paris for 2 people to him on stage. Mr. Huang Qi Lun – the first runner up and Mr. Chan Lai Yin – the second runner up have received a LONGINES watch valued at HK$20,000 and HK$10,000 respectively.

Elegance can be expressed through giving back to the society and charity. In view of this, LONGINES has put the top 10 scoring photos together with elegant photos taken by Wing Shya, Bernice Liu, Pak Ho Chow and Charlie Young in the desktop calendar of year 2011 for charity sale. Photos of Longines’s Ambassador of Elegance, Aaron Kwok and Chiling Lin are included as well. Each calendar is HK$30. All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. The charity calendar is printed with both Hong Kong and Mainland Public holiday and is now available for charity sale in all Longines boutiques in Hong Kong.

Today is Aaron Kwok’s birthday and Longines has arranged an iPhone parrot to present a birthday surprise to Aaron in the ceremony. Ms Karen Au Yeung, Vice President of Longines Hong Kong presented a Longines first Heritage Column-Wheel Chronograph rose gold wristwatch valued at HK$62,900 to Aaron to wish him happy birthday.

Longines sponsors the premiere of “City Under Siege” – Aaron Kwok in the leading role

The gala premiere of the thriller “City Under Siege”, sponsored by Longines is held on Tuesday, Aug 10, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Presented by Longines, the movie features Chinese martial arts and Hollywood mutants as its core plot. Vivid special effects and explosive action with real guns and ammunition combined to maximize the dramatic visual impact of this movie produced in Hong Kong, which is quite a pioneer in the market. The whole crew of the movie and a number of famous film director and producers attend the premiere, making this event a topic of the town.

Aaron Kwok, Longines Ambassador of Elegance, and Ms Karen Au Yeung, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Longines Hong Kong, hosted a lucky draw ceremony with their flying daggers. The lucky winner was Mr Benny Chan, Director of “City Under Siege”. His prize was a Longines Retrograde wristwatch valued at HK$ 35,200.

The Chinese best recruit children of ‘Roland-Garros 2010 – Discover Longines Future Tennis Aces’ gather together for the final tournament in Beijing on May, 15th. Longines Ambassador of Elegance – Mr. Aaron Kwok presents at the venue to cheer and witness the winner. At the same time, Aaron also celebrates the opening of the Beijing Beichen Longines flagship store, and shows Admiral Ceramic Chronograph, the Longines new sporty watch.

Beijing in May comes with the radiant and enchanting sunshine at the beginning of the summer. 【16:38】2010年05月03日【on.cc專訊】 郭富城出席代言的Longines活動,大會捐出一隻價值三萬元的腕錶作慈善拍賣,由著名音樂人金培達以五萬元投得,善款將撥捐青海賑災,而城城亦透露 7、8月期間會到內地進行一場賽車慈善賽籌款。
城城表示還未欣賞新片《葉問2》,故未能評論緋聞女友熊黛林的演技,但他說:「佢上集演技都 OK!」提到二人在微博上傳情,城城強調開微博只是為粉絲:「我關注好多朋友!」
此外,對於老友沈嘉偉的太太邱淑貞傳出再度有喜,城城表示不知情,日前與沈嘉偉兩公婆食飯,也不察覺對方有孕。記者指他說時奸笑,城城說:「我係誠實o既人,唔會講大話,我真係唔知!」

The Longines Future Tennis Aces in Hong Kong

Longines Hong Kong held the prize award presentation for the Longines Future Tennis Aces at the main concourse of Ocean Terminal, Harbour City and Tsim Sha Tsui. Hundreds of press and passengers came and watched the show.

This is the first time for Hong Kong to send a kid to attend the mini tournament in Roland-Garros. Abigail Chiu, outperformed the 3 other contestants and won the Hong Kong selection match on 11th of April. A prize award ceremony was organized to announce the good news. The Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Mr Aaron Kwok, was invited to attend the event. He held a giant racquet and hit the giant tennis ball to unveil the “Longines Future Tennis Aces” message. Aaron also presented a huge Roland-Garros ticket to Abigail, wishing her the best success for the trip. To support the local tennis development for the youth, Longines Hong Kong also sponsored HKD100,000 to the Hong Kong Tennis Association (HKTA) to establish the Longines Future Tennis Aces Scholarship. Talented kids after joining the summer training program organized by HKTA will benefit from this scholarship to continue their training in tennis. Miss Karen Au Yeung, Vice President of Longines Hong Kong presented the cheque to Mr Vincent Liang, Honorary Secretary of HKTA.

Showing concern for our society is also an act of Elegance. Longines donated the latest Admiral Ceramic Chronograph at a value of HKD31,300 for a charity auction. Finally the renowned music composer and producer Peter Kam won the auction at HKD50,000. The sum was donated to Unicef to help the victims of the Qinghai earthquake. At the end of the show, Aaron helped to sign Longines tennis balls for a charity sale at the event. The act attracted a huge crowd around the show.

【20:42】2010年04月26日【on.cc專訊】 郭富城赴蘇州為其代言的浪琴錶新店擔任開幕剪綵嘉賓,吸引逾千名市民到場支持,場面擠擁而熱鬧!當城城乘坐駕抵達會場時,突然有一名熱情男歌迷橫衝直撞,奔向城城的專車,司機差點把他撞倒,城城立即下車慰問。
另外,他在浪琴錶活動上簽了數個網球作賑災義賣,而下星期一城城會出席活動,他會在即將推出的DVD中拿出一批來義賣,亦會出錢印製個人Q版公仔Tee作義賣,只要是幫助青海災民的事他都會支持。

城城今晚不能在港參與大匯演演出,但事前已拍下錄像呼籲捐錢。

郭富城全力支持清海籌款賑災,希望大家作出援手。
